How to play Mahjong Triple

Mahjong Triple is a tile-sorting puzzle with mahjong tiles. Move tiles into a small tray and clear them three at a time — but if the tray fills before a triple appears, the run is over.

Steps

  1. Tap a tile that has nothing on top of it to send it to the tray.
  2. Three identical tiles in the tray clear automatically and free their slots.
  3. The tray has a limited number of slots. If it fills with no triple, the run ends.
  4. Clear the whole board to win. Undo takes back your last tile.

Tips that actually help

What is Mahjong Triple?

Mahjong Triple takes the tile-sorting idea that became popular in mobile puzzle games and rebuilds it with real mahjong tiles. Instead of matching pairs, you collect three of a kind in a small tray.

Why the tray matters

The tray is the whole game. Every tile you take occupies a slot until its group of three is complete, so a careless pick costs you space. On Easy you get nine slots, on Normal seven, and on Hard only five — the same board becomes a very different puzzle.

Where it sits among mahjong puzzles

Mahjong solitaire is about reading a stacked board. Mahjong Connect is about paths. Mahjong Triple is about inventory management: what you hold is as important as what you take next.
