How to play Mahjong Dimensions

Mahjong Dimensions turns mahjong solitaire into a three-dimensional puzzle. Spin the tower, find matching pairs along the open edges, and clear every tile before the clock catches you.

• Drag anywhere on the board to spin the tower.
• Click two identical tiles to remove them.
• A tile can only be taken when nothing sits on top of it and at least one side is open.
• Clear the whole tower to win.
• Stuck? Shuffle rearranges the remaining tiles without changing the count.

Tips that actually help

• Work from the outside in — the outer edge of each layer is always the most open.
• After every cleared pair, spin the tower a little. Tiles that looked buried often open up.
• Drag to about forty degrees; at that angle the layers separate and you can see what is free.
• Save Hint for when the tower looks completely blocked.

What is Mahjong Dimensions?

Mahjong Dimensions is mahjong solitaire rebuilt in three dimensions. Instead of a flat layout you get a tower of tiles stacked in shrinking layers. You can spin it with your finger or mouse, which turns a static puzzle into something closer to holding a real object.

How the rules change

In flat mahjong solitaire, a tile is free when nothing rests on top of it and its left or right side is clear. Dimensions keeps that rule but applies it in depth: a tile high in the tower is only reachable once the tiles above it are gone, and tiles in the middle of a layer stay locked until you open a path from the edge.

Reading the tower

Spin slowly. At a shallow angle the tower looks solid; at roughly forty degrees each layer separates visually and the free tiles stand out. The strongest habit is to clear the outside ring of a layer first — it unlocks everything inside it.

Why it is worth playing

The flat version trains pattern spotting. The 3D version adds spatial planning: you are not just choosing a pair, you are deciding which part of the stack to dismantle first, because the order you clear tiles in decides which ones become reachable next.
